you will find some of the whitest brahmins among tamil brahmins but they have lived in south as old the dravidian civilization has been and inseparable you will find darker brahmins too.

I agree with the notion of brahmin being a ritualistic status, but the fact of the matter still remains which is humans are innately racist, looks obsessed freaks. Even if you aren't, the people around you will ensure the genes associated with lookism-autism survive & proliferate and that the genes associated with" good character perception" will either diminish, get filtered off or just hang around as a spandrel in few individuals of the genepool.
