I there any drawback of pulling away yourself from all this internet subculture, trends & everything else and only focusing on productivity and spirituality and trying to find a meaning in life
I know this will massively impact my social life.
I might become hollow inside devoid of any emotions and connections
And if i ever decided to come back, the world would have moved on. Trends, networks, skills, memes everything. I would have lost friends, job connections,opportunities or just feel forever out of the loop.
Plus, there's a chance I might rebound to old habits worse than before

fear of missing out is retarded, internet is dead and the companies are not yet content they are still choking the corpse but somehow the audience is not flinched as they still have a hope that dead may arise once again. it will not.
saying it again said it long back. create a digital connection, bring back those webrings of the past. curate a group of people disconnected yet connected.

You'll lose nothing. I already experience serious generation gap while speaking to kids 20 or so years younger than me. They watch iShowSpeed and scream 6 7 out of nowhere. I can't relate to any of the things they say.

watch movies, create a website where you post. so on or don't. have something locally. read books, work and earn money, go out with friends, surfing, whatever.
