Grinding is for slaves tho. Isnt it? They have shallow existence confirmed by my personal experience with them. They never contemplate about life, are motivated by external validation/izzat/making pArEnTs pRoD and are not inward looking at all. They lack curiosity, venturesomeness and independent thoughts. At times they seem soulless to me. Tho it must be said they are important and humanity does need individuals like them to form a section of working drones that grind to free the masters to do the philosophy, thinking, art, invention and producing culture.

This is true but not in the way you may think.
Elites of antiquity viewed leisure differently; they did not work for sustenance, but they worked tirelessly for attaining social status.
So when the ancient greek philosophers and later thinkers like Nietzsche spoke of leisure they didn't mean NEETcuckery rather a constant striving for greatness.
