Happened during the first Israel-Iran conflict, and now it happened again.
The GoI spent huge amounts of money to evacuate students that went there to study and the students were ungrateful and kept complaining to get more and more accomodation for free
They did exactly the same again in the recent one.
Basically muslims realized they can abuse the GoI to get free flights back home if they just stay in conflict prone areas because anything else would make the GoI look bad.
In other countries the government writes a huge bill btw.
