I am currently fighting a case for one such ITJeet.
What P-Cells of colleges do is that they pay companies to hire jeets during placement season to boost college stats. Many of them are just dumped later citing "low performance" or "not making the cut during training". Many companies just terminate suddenly, and do not even define such temporary employment terms in contracts. They mislead these students and them leave them hung out to dry.

Also, in the IIT thread someone shared IITKGP placement data and I can't recognize even a single core engineering company from that. No real engineering happens in India. I am seeing retarded profiles in LinkedIn that says TRADER and graduating from IIT Madras. These people aren't even engineers. They're banking jews.

People need to realize that the golden age of corporate jobs is poised to end. I am not being a bhosadpiller here. I have literally seen ITjeets default on their house loan because they got laid off with zero notice.
Secure alternate streams of income, get into govt jobs, etc. Only the top 5% have any sort of job security in corporate jobs.

This is the real problem. STEMjeets crack one exam and suddenly they all are too good to get their hands dirty, and all require AC offices.
I definitely think that core engineering requires more funding. R&D as a whole requires more government funding.

From what I have heard from a cousin, it pays well after you get your masters. Still, glad to see people getting into core engineering. These are the people that build our nation.
