Anons who have sister, do you think your parents will distribute property equally between you two?
My parents openly said that they will give both of us equal share.
After that, I never participated in any house activity, earlier I used to bring relatives from station, and buy grocery and help around house and other stuff thinking it's my responsibility as a man.... but I don't do that anymore.
My father noticed it and wanted to talk about it but I avoided him harshly, it was first time I was mean to him. He tried to boss me but I didn't listen, I even got bit physical and pushed him.
Btw, my sister was living in hostel during college and soon after that she got married so she was never really present.
Yesterday, my mom asked me if I can drop her to some of her friends house, I just coldly told her no and not to make such request from now.

My parents don't have that much wealth that I could care less about how they divide it between siblings. Although I agree with you, if your parents thinks your son and daughter are to be treated 'equal', you should stop doing a 'man/son's responsibility'.

I am mad because parents always spent most money on her, even got her scooty, laptop and other stuff when she was in highschool saying "after marriage she wont be here so lets pamper her as much as we can". I've stopped doing it a long time ago. I don't go to any of their functions. I don't come out of my room when any of my relatives come. I basically live as a tenant in my their home. I pay them around 10000 per month which I believe is me paying them rent for staying there.

Yup, that's why I have decided to not get into verbal argument because I know it will be just brain rotting dialogues.
