> linux has working desktop

> it has active development

> development slows down because little left to do

> finally when a new user uses linux it just works

> in fact if one de/wm works every wm/de works

> the THEY notice thing works too well so they introduce new thing

xorg is cringe and slow and doesnt work and spaghetti code and we will not do refactoring but instead make new thing. come to wayland it doesn't work but look at the development activity (because it doesnt work and has years of progress remaining)

> now the new thing does not work

> in fact the new thing isnt even a thing its a specification/protocol that needs to be implemented separately

> so if one wm has thing no idea if others do

> 0 desktop diversity because of the load of creating new thing

holy hell plasma, gnome all the big dogs take the wayland pill. but what if wayland actually happens? Oi vey we must stop this

> create development hell. any change must be over engineered and debated for no reason

> why like this and not that. why here and not there. just let the user set some environment variables and restart the prtals every 10 minutes

> create needless fighting over nothing

now the goy are behaving. we may rest

> literal child makes wayland window manager better than mainstream alternatives

> wayland so barely functions even after this meany years for anything outside of showing windows in a tiling pattern

> fighting uphill battle but fights nonetheless

oi vey too much progress. cancel this person. he is transphobic and all

now inevitably someone with clout outside tech circles like PewDiePie evangelises linux. more people try linux and no one can screenshare because wayland doesnt work. everyone goes back to proprietory garbage because linux is barely functional and their ZOG-OS used to

none of this would've happened if we just kept xorg

you see the movies would have you believe the way the THEM controls you is by being in power positions and you need to shoot them but it is actually by the distopea of beurocracy. they control you by asking questions. the most threatening thing you can do is just doing thing. no "why like this and not that". work in any direction threatens their control over you

thanks for listening/reading

This is what I actually need. It'd be a single script only to do this but I can't implement it by myself.

I will try vibecoding it.

Never ever use lxqt. Use Xfce for light environment.

On top of being unfinished, its not much lighter than Xfce and developers doesnt understand the line between lightweight and inconvenience. And for some reason, lxqt heat up back of my laptop perticular concentrated point while Xfce spreads the heat evenly
