Most of you anons night know about tor but I2P is another darknet protocol which provides another alternative internet with the help of a decentralised P2P network. If doesn't need any nodes like tor, each client router is a peer
Once you've set up I2P these sites might be useful to bookmark and add to your address book and add their /hosts.txt to subscriptions list first
Adding the hosts file will index most addresses, still you can add other new addresses to your address book. Address book is like the local and publicly shared DNS database which connects your .I2P aliased addresses to their full b32 links.
To access clearweb with it you need further setup which I currently don't know how
I just started using it a day ago and liked the indie web feel of it, specially the personal sites.
Just wanted to see if there's any bhachanners who have any experience with it

h-how did that happen? Please elaborate
It's for educational purposes, I'm not running a DNM or selling cheese. Uni profs teach this shit dude
Don't fearmonger, state facts ffs

Anonymity, separate internet network within the internet you'll like it if you're into old school internet with people having their own personal websites (eepsites), and torrenting without your ISP knowing

My bad, this does not concern i2p, only tor. around late 2020 he was pretty deep into privacy and encryption and shit while in kalej. He got caught running a Tor exit node at IGI using their free Wi-Fi sending a shit ton of outbound encrypted traffic, they took him to a room, asked him a couple questions and checked his phone (kek). They then made him pay a ₹1,000 fine and left

Ohh fuck
That's what I suspected when you said that he got caught lol. Running a tor exit node requires huge cojones which I don't have currently...
I'd rather become anonymous than become some individual which glowies might track, props to your bro though, he contributed to the network kek
Also I kinda feel relieved that most shit like this isn't taken seriously here in india as the govt doesn't care much about online shit like this
If your bro was from a "five eyes" country in the surveillance dystopia that the west is, he'd have been jailed with a heavy fine
I don't want India to become the same
