what I have done is only replace software that can be replaced like I use librewolf, startpage and freetube because they can be easily replace chrome, google and youtube but i haven't changed installed a custom rom on my phone because it uses an mediatek cpu. Although I'm trying to cut down on my phone and internet usage as much as possible.
