Now that our S400 / s500 class SAM system Kusha is almost there, all the lobbies are brimming and shilling imports of the systems like s500 which will kill any indigenous efforts.

there are many nation which are completely dependent on other nations for crucial technologies. Thats what international trade is all about. I can see it working well as a long term strategy as well. There are multiple suppliers for ddefense tech globally with varied geopolitical alignments. There would never be a problem.
We should focus on creating universities first.
