>Defence secretary Rajesh kumar confirms only 3 companies still in the race- TASL, L&T + BEL, KALYANI + BEML
>HAL eliminated because their pending order book is 8 times their annual revenue.
>The final winner of the contract (L1 lowest bidder) will be announced in April/ may 2026.
