Truth is that this 36bn usd deal will inflate further. There are lots of problems

It's likely that dassault will delay the integration, even provide alternate and IAF will gladly whimper and cry and force government to shell out more money so our indigenous weapons will never get integrated and will die.
It will only further increase the dependency on imports, forex flush nothing else.

It's not a 5th gen, it's a 4.5th gen aircraft which means it doesn't really solve the problem of against China fielding 5th gen and 6th gen aircrafts or even against their radars it will be ineffective. And now what happens if pakistan gets J35?
Rafale even will be delivered by 2032 or even later if we sign the deal right now, it neither improves the numbers in IAF nor it will be the cutting edge for its time. Nor provides any lead.

IAF is gaslighting people, orange congress is doing the same destroying our strategic industries, flushing our forex to most likely benefit few select dhandhos who never want to do R&D.
People are not able to digest the fact that same government which is giving excuse of "36bn usd over 5 to 7 years", lie btw it will be 50bn+ and eventually 70bn+ usd, has not been able to invest even 1bn usd honestly in our own engine program.
Questions are
>Why is R&D spending completely stagnant
>Why didn't IAF go for super sukhoi program
>Why has GOI not approve the High altitude test beds, tejas mk1b type programs or even CCS clearance for AMCA, UCAV ghatak
>Why government has delayed the files repeatedly when it comes to indigenous programs
Demand is simple, first pour money in our indigenous programs and R&D then import with whatever is left.
