Read up on Chandigarh lobby. Also C 130 is a good plane. The IAF already operates it. We don't want our meme airforce to have one more type of aircraft. The IAF already operates more aircraft types than USAF. Training,maintenance and inter operability is a nightmare when you have so many types of aircraft. That's how you have friendly fire incidents like the one in 2019.
