One ends up thinking if he has some serious plot armour. Reaching the recent comic pages will make you think he absorbed all the luck that every other iteration of spiderman was ever supposed to have.
Only thing he didn't going on for him in the series was MJ, he was pretty much the best spidey in all other regards. Never seen spiderman get along so well with X Men and Avengers. He was fighting toe to toe with them.
