I still remember the time I played sh2 (original), in the summer (march, april ig) of 2023...
When I completed the game it just never left me, the experience stuck with me. I'll never forget the ending and I keep revisiting the soundtrack from time to time. It is a piece of art which transcends the medium of videogames, knowing that it came out in 2001 was insane.
It just left an aftertaste with me and I wasn't able get it off my head for a few weeks atleast.
The only games which came close were bioshock+bioshock infinite and it's burial at sea dlc but the plot in bioshock series felt full of holes.
I don't know anything about the sh2 remake as I've not played it or watched anything related to it.
So bhachanners, do you know any games which are as emotionally moving as sh2 while not being a drag and grindfest? I want something to cherish after playing, like a good movie or some good song. I've already played sh1 and sh3 though

Golden Sun by far, this single handedly made me fall in love with JRPG's
without this I wouldn't have got to experience Dark Souls and Persona3

I've only ever done neutral and pacifist, i didn't have the heart to do genocide. i tried, but reset after killing papyrus.
