Daydreaming is something even I struggle with. This bad habit started alongside depression and anxiety issues. Unsurprisingly, my daydreams are wish fulfillment on steroids.
The best way I have found is to keep myself busy. Take up some project, and I don't mean codejeet/academic, it could be absolutely anything, and work towards it.
You won't snap out of it on day 1 or maybe even day 100, but every minute doing work is one minute less you're daydreaming. Idle mind and all that. Really is that simple, bhrata.
