It's a matter of limitations. You need to figure out how to fit everything in the grid that you're given. That's why I like it, irl I'm not very good at drawing as my hand wanders. Picrel is 8*8, only 64 pixels!

kek pretty good anon, but is it possible to ig create a very low res version of it? Like that pixel pepe.

Maybe try side view of jaggu walking, use Aseprite to create pixel art if you aren't doing already. I find it very useful. Available on steam for 500rs i think max.

It's been almost a month but ig i can dust off and start the work again. Fuck i am recalling so many things now, https://phaser.io/ i can use phaser library to speed things up.

We can create a pepe adventure style but even more refined work calling it 'memes of aryavarta' and include political references, some lore from chota bheem kek. This can definitely work i am certain.

It can even be multiplayer. It's a worth an attempt. Can you try making sprite of jaggu walking in 4 directions. Something like pic related.

Shit, I forgot. Since the jaggu is only 16 by 16 I can churn them out rather quickly. (I have noticed that my speed is highest in 32x, since 16x requires you to think about pixel placement.)

Also have one query in aseprite we can scale the pixel arts by any factor we want. It works really well. So ig you can do that too right? Reasoning for that is cuz i don't want you to be restricted to just 64x or 32x whichever is suitable for you. Otherwise i will scale them using aseprite no issues.

For starters we will keep things simple. So normal walk, simple action of throwing and jumping.

Walking in 4 directions.

Ability to through normal fruits, stones, whatever he has collected from random places.

Ability to through mace.

Another power up calling it Indra's wrath, where he can throw lightning bolts.

Throw action will be same, so just focus on that. Remaining stuff will be secondary animations.

I am just writing few things in my mind, currently don't think too much about whatever i write below.

I feel, the online version of it can be created early and could be fun. Single player story element we can include later with more time in hand, i want to focus on that so it will take time.

For multiplayer, we can connect multiple anons online, they can provide each other task, like attack another random anon to get something, trade. Just walking, killing demons in the dandak forest so on. In between they will encounter all sorts of npcs, like an npc officer who stops you from street shitting so you can kill him, kek, or rakshashi who hypnotises normal wahmen and men. etc. etc. We can encounter and kill, add a lore about them. Each user can write their own lore and let it be public.

Universe should have elements from ancient India, modern indian parody elements. All of that. This is multiplayer, it will be total chaotic and senseless.

Single player will have a storyline, progression differently.

When he is sprinting he does that on 4 legs, otherwise normally. We will go with bipedal behavior currently to ease work.

Most games have some central mechanics, like magic/ portals/ sword fights whatever. Take Skyward Sword where the Wii remote's motion sensing was used to move the sword ingame so you would actually have to stab/ slash/ whatever to hit enemies. Or Portal's portals, or even something basic like good platforming or combat with a mace. Doesn't need to be too novel, just a base to build the game on. What would ours be?
