My first foray into vexillology. Spent way too many hours experimenting, basically learning Inkscape from scratch.
It's rough around the edges (literally), but I think it looks decent.
The inspiration should also be obvious.

it really looks good anon and genuinely impressive that you are pursuing it. It aligns well with your title of 'rising aryavarta'. But sometimes the inspiration for it overshadows the idea it is meant to convey.
Understanding history, land and people can help a lot to create flags which resonate with more people. In comes to Indian places, I would recommend reading more,

For State flags just search up their empires and use that flags. Will barely take a few minutes tbh.
Now after that add some other options for flags (like you've already added Aryavarta and United Nations)

There's a lot of state flag designs I've seen online, but many are just multicolored striped flags. No one recognizes or gives a shit about those.
The best ones for our purpose

Ok here's a flag for Andhra Pradesh.
I chose not to go for any ye olde empire.
Instead, I went for something more recent but also beautiful. Telugu Talli (తెలుగు తల్లి), is the mother goddess who represents the Telugu people and our culture. Her origin dates back to 1942 or so.
The flag has two main components:
> the harvest that the goddess holds in her left hand, representing greenery/prosperity > the kalaśa (कलश / కలశము) she holds in her right hand, representing happiness/swasti for all the Telugu people
There is also Telangana Talli who came into being in 2003 due to political reasons and such. I will make a flag inspired by her as well.
I'm still undecided as to whether to consider this flag a Telugu flag as a whole, or keep it to just AP.
Fellow gultis I would appreciate your suggestions. Also please review anons.

The concept of Telangana Talli also hasn't yet fully sunk into Telanagana culture.
Maybe a fellow gulti can correct me if I'm wrong, but the mother goddess is for all Telugu people, be they Andhra, Telangana, or Rayalaseema.
Honestly I might scrap the idea of a flag based on Telangana Talli and instead go for something different for both AP and Telangana.

Yep that's why i genuinely wanted to read more about each state and create flags. But don't really have time. Few states like Kerala, Sikkim, Karnataka, TN, etc. have some good base or current flags.
Kerala pretty much copied coat of arms from Kingdom of Travancore, Karnataka already someone shared. TN i kept chola flag. In particular southern states have atleast a bit better flags compared to atrocity that you see in north and let's not get into UTs.
