I like these. Used to have non instant variant before. For office I changed to this. Noo tropic. Works for me

Caffeine dose is low so no heart palpitations

FYI

Avoid sleepy owl. Lot of additives and added sugar.

Instant coffee is not universally terrible for digestion, but it can cause digestive discomfort in some individuals due to its acidity, caffeine content, and preparation method. While moderate consumption may offer benefits like improved bowel regularity and reduced inflammation, it can also stimulate excessive stomach acid production, potentially leading to heartburn, acid reflux, or irritation, especially when consumed on an empty stomach

its pretty shrimple

all the flavours, oils, and of course caffeine is locked within coffee beans, so how do we extract it? with hot water duh

You either buy whole beans and grind them yourself, or buy pre ground coffee grown in our very own country ie; mainly Karnataka

I personally use a South Indian Kappi filter as demonstrated in 2nd picrel you scoop in as much coffee powder as you wish in the upper chamber and pour in hot (not fully boiling) water in and let it filter down the bottom chamber.

I managed to find ( dumpster dive) an ancient stainless-steel filter just like picrel with missing lid but tamp and everything in perfect condition

which no one uses

I have continental malgudi grounds

should I use the tamp or just say fuck it

also what's your coffee to paani to doodh ratio anons?

If you wish to make coffee for two people or cups then sure, just pay attention to the ground to water ratio. I keep mine somewhat tight. This all depends on how much you drink in one sitting and if you even add in milk as well. Read on to learn more.

>>398

>should I use the tamp or just say fuck it

nah dont be a retard like that one jewtuber who throws his and advises others to do the same

put that tamper to use, its there for a reason

Like I tried brewing once without it and it just fucked up the coffee. Here's my recipe and method, you can try this first but I encourage you to experiment yourself to figure out your taste.

It's the 30-15 method.

>take 13-14 grams of ground coffee into the upper chamber

>shake the kappi so the bed levels flat, drop the tamper

>have your hot water ready, should be around 95° for best results, you don't need to measure it with a thermo every time just bring it to boil and let it rest for a few seconds

>pour in 60 grams of water, wait for 30 seconds

>dont close the lid yet, let the carbon dioxide out in the blooming phase

>pour in 60 grams of water, and this time wait for 15 seconds

>use the remaining water and close the lid, or in your case just keep it aside as is

I use 14 grams of coffee and 160 grams of water so that would be 1:11 ratio, quite tight but that's how I like it. Then I use milk ~1:1 ratio or whatever amount of volume I've got left in the cup kek

Like I said you probably won't get it right the first brew but thats fine. The more cups of coffee you will brew the closer you will reach to your perfect cup of coffee, because the perfect cup is the one you genuinely enjoyed brewing. Thanks for reading.

If the katori fits just right over the rim then sure I guess you can make use of it.

>drops from the bloming phase taste like heaven btw

yeah thats pure elixir right there, best part about pour over filter is that you dont have to deal with crema that you get from espresso style brewers

Blue tokai. Deserves the hype. Indian coffee has come of age. Will share some more brands soon.

Gujjew friend got some spore and pour. Its instant coffee + nootropic.

30 ml milk for me. 500 ml + 1 tbsp. I don't like the heavy milky coffee.

Sampling picrel atm.

Based post. Pour over is the best.

Have tried lot of coffee machines and pour over is the best.

Using picrel forever. No paper filter though paper filter does give a finer coffee. I am fine with slightly coarse particles.

Turkish is shit.

500 gms is a lot. It will last you ages. There are cheaper varieties.

Bru is honestly fine. But it can fuck your stomach.

Most importantly. It is how you prepare it. Well prepared bru will taste better than expensive beam prepared like shit
