You can get all the essential AA's from plant & legume sources you just need to eat more and I agree Lim el al. (2021) and Reid-McCann et al. (2025) meta analyses clearly showed animal sources as superior for gaining lean muscle mass in available longitudinal studies but Askow et al. (2025) interestingly showed a balanced EAA diet of either plant or animal based protein did not affect protein synthesis rates as you know.
